ALLERGIES & SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS


Please discuss any allergies or special dietary requirements with us at the point of enquiry. We offer various dietary options, however, our products may not be suitable for those with certain allergies as our kitchen does handle wheat, dairy and nuts.



CAKE CARE


When handling a cake, please lift from the bottom of the box. The cake is on a drum and is supported well this way. Lifting from the sides can cause the box to become weak and potentially damage the cake.


When home, buttercream cakes should be placed in the fridge and removed 2 hours before you would like to eat it. If you are not able to put it in a fridge, please store in a cool room, away from direct sunlight.



DELIVERY & COLLECTION


We cannot be held liable for any damage to items once they have left our premises.


When collecting with a vehicle, please make sure the product is placed on a flat surface for transportation. A clear boot or footwell is ideal!


We always advise to have your vehicle at a cool temperature inside (air con on if possible!) so that cakes do not overheat. On warm days, please do not stop on route home and leave the cake unattended in the car ... it’ll end in tears!



IS OUR PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?


We try to be as careful as possible when choosing the right packaging for our products, because we love the world and we need to look after it. Everyday packaging is eco-friendly and completely recyclable, this includes cupcake boxes, cake boxes and cake boards.


Sometimes, if you order a tall cake we would use cellophane to cover and protect it so that the quality and decoration of your cake is not compromised during transport. If you would prefer us not to do this, please let us know and we can work out an alternative solution.



DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS


We ask for a 25% deposit or £10 (whichever is greater) to hold the date. This can be paid by bank transfer, details of which can be supplied on request.


You can pay the remaining balance, either by cash or bank transfer, on collection. If paying by bank transfer, please make sure this is completed before collection otherwise we will not be able to release the item.


Please note that deposits are not refundable unless the order is cancelled by us.
